First, you must make sure that the area about to be treated should be clean. It is highly suggested that you use warm water and any antibacterial or regular soap. Dry it well. This should be done to avoid any dirt or sweat from the skin tag which may lead to infection or prevent the ACV from working.

The next step is to remove the top layer of the skin. Painful as it may sound, but it aids the vinegar in terms of absorption. Be careful, however, to avoid any blood from coming out.

Then, it would help if you soaked a cotton ball in the ACV. This would avoid excess liquid from absorbing. If you did, squeeze the extra vinegar out before applying it.

Following the previous step, you must now apply the ACV on the skin tag. You may first, hold it on the area or put a band-aid over it overnight.

After applying the ACV, wash the area treated before making another application.

Finally, repeat the steps for a few weeks or until the desired result arrives.

Depending on the sensitivity of the skin and the number of skin tags, treatment time may vary. As explained in step four, it depends on how long you will soak the ACV on the tags. This could range from a few minutes, an hour, or even overnight. However, as suggested, it is better to leave it longer for effective results.

Do not worry. You may choose to do experiments on your skin tags with proper precautions. Of course, it is recommended to start with less liquid on the cotton ball and a few minutes and build up from there. If you are planning to do it overnight, applying a band-aid over it should be done to hold the cotton ball in its place.

Ideally speaking, removing skin tags through dying and falling it off is not painful. This is true if the steps are followed religiously and correctly. In terms of side effects, the possible one is the feeling of mild stinging since your skin is newly adapting.

This is why a lot of people do this procedure because it has less to no pain at all. Fortunately, there will not be any scarring too! So, do not be afraid if you are planning to do the natural ways of removing and treating skin tags that are in visible areas.
